    “Wilkes” marked .40cal rifle.

Like I said to the other person, I think this is the case as well. I believe it start at life as original as anything, and was just updated/restored until I got it. Because it hung on a wall for at least 60 years until I picked it up. The old man who had it before I did said, it has been passed...

    “Wilkes” marked .40cal rifle.

I thought the same thing after some research. I think it’s an old rifle that has just been carried through with modifications.

Any ideas about this? I can post more pictures, but this is the only markings I found on the rifle. It has a 38 inch barrel.

Need a stock made for my musket.

I don’t need it to replicate anything. I just need the stock so I can start shooting it again. it’s .93 caliber. So it doesn’t really look like anything.

Need a stock made for my musket.

its an old African trade musket. In great shape. I just want a new stock made and fitted. Also want the touchhole properly placed in line with the flash pan. The biggest issue with the stock for me honestly is the fact that over the years the wood has deteriorated where the pan meets the touch...

I simply do not have the time. I’ve tried to contact a couple of stock makers and no one is interested. Does anybody know...

    Charleville lock.

Took her apart for cleaning. Figured I’d snap a couple pics of the lock. Don’t ask who made it. I have no clue. I’ve hunted with this musket for many years. Plenty of rounds through her. No issues. Ever. only marking on the entire firearm is what you see. Rest of the musket has the same patina.

New to the forums. Not new to muzzle loading. I honestly made this profile in order to try to find someone in Poland who can help me get a ball mold from saguaro-arms.
