WANTED Potsdam musket cut down carbine stock

WTB an 1809 potsdam musket stock that has been cut down for a carbine. Stock on mine has a crack that is unable to be repaired and I am looking for a new one to make it safe to shoot. Would prefer an original in good shape ( all I ask is crack free), but a repro would be accepted. Budget is up...

WANTED 52 cal bullet or ball molds.

Recently picked up a .52 caliber Hall rifle and looking for molds for it. Don't care how many it can make at a time. Just want to try shooting it with properly sized projectiles. Let me know what you have and what price you're asking.

Numrich arms underhammer reassembly and problems

To everyone saying the full cock notch was damaged, that was it. Squared it off with a dremel and now it holds no problem. Shot it a bit today too. Puts holes through paper well enough.

Numrich arms underhammer reassembly and problems

If I hold it forward, it holds in place till I stop. I'll try swapping the trigger to see what happens. Might just try and find a replacement spring too.

Numrich arms underhammer reassembly and problems

Here's a link to the vid of what's happening. The hammer will not stay back at full cock. Also included is a pic of the hammer. If it looks like there is damage, let me know.

Numrich arms underhammer reassembly and problems

Tried that with a screwdriver of similar diameter. No luck sadly. Hansi, I will link a video when I get home from work to detail the problem.

Numrich arms underhammer reassembly and problems

So I got a numrich arms underhammer as part of a package deal at an auction. Unfortunately the trigger spring was not strong enough to hold the hammer back at full cock. I took the thing apart not knowing how much of a pain this was going to be to put back together. Pictured is the part I...

    Hall rifle load data?

They are breach loaders but you can muzzle load if the action gets too dirty and seizes up. As for the bullets I use. They're too small to engage the rifling and don't produce the best accuracy.

    Hall rifle load data?

I can't get .530 round ball to go down the barrel while clean without using a lot of force. It will fit into the breech though without issue when I load it that way. Not sure if that makes it safe to use though as I am new to black powder. I did find some .520 molds though which I have on the...

    Hall rifle load data?

If it were that easy, I would have found it. I have spent hours trying and none of the videos talk about safe loads to use in the modern day, or historically. Can't find any info on google either. As far as powder goes. There isn't any available locally to me and I'm not about to pay hazmat...

    Hall rifle load data?

So I have owned an original hall rifle for the past few weeks now, but I had a few questions I was wondering if someone on this thread could answer. Specifically, is there a place I can find bullet molds for it. I was told it was a .52 caliber and I measured it at .527. Or would it be safe to...
