Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Great find, I got a mountain rifle kit at a gun show about three years ago for 80 bucks, thought that was a great deal! They are great shooters, I have 4, 2 kits that I built, a factory finished one and a big bore 54 caliber that was a kit built by someone else. I have to work on that one to fix...
Hey, nice bear!! I live in northern Wisconsin and bear season is going good now! Cool nights and leaves changing, great to be in the woods. I won’t get a tag for another year or two, lottery for bear. Congratulations!!
Nice gun! There is one for sale at a local antique store, 1300 dollars I believe. Nice shape but probably not as nice as yours. Is that a decent price?
I look forward to trying it out, have plenty of other powder, probably should have bought more, oh well! Hey, I bought a twenty dollar ticket for ducks unlimited, found out later I won and get to choose a prize, including multiple unmentionables! Good day I think
Hey, found some kik powder today at a gun show, 30 bucks a can, got two for fifty, saw an owner from another gun shop nearby buying a lot, probably be 50 a can at his place! Never heard of it, took a chance, good stuff or no
Welcome from northern Wisconsin! Evaporust is really good stuff, works great on rust and will remove bluing, browning and the color case hardened look on locks, etc, Good luck!
Welcome from northwest Wisconsin! Used to live in Illinois but have been here for 21 years. You can use your muzzleloader during the regular 9 day gun season as well for a total of nineteen days of black powder hunting!
My latest mountain rifle, laurel mountain stain from track of the wolf, genuine oil finish, darkened all the furniture, hope you can get a dark finish like this!
