    Thompson Center Clean out screw

    Once and for all, my TC Seneca and Patriot have a small grub screw opposite the Nipple. When cleaning the gun by flushing the barrel should that screw be removed or never removed?? Is it a clean out screw or a left over from the manufacturing process
