    What do you think...?

I had my TC Renegade (flint) worked over this fall - new frizzen and pan work from Brad at Cabin Creek and Bobby bore'd out the 50 cal to what is now 54 with a 1in32 twist. My peep is locked in and overall, the equipment should produce results. I had it out at the range earlier this past week...

WANTED GM LRH or other fast twist...

I haven't updated y'all in awhile, but I took both TCs to Bobby H and they are now 54calibers with a 1-in-32 twist. I also had the locks worked on at cabin creek. So, they are both totally redone. I shot the renegade the other week and had very good results. I have yet to work through the...

    Upgrading the TCs

As I have posted a few threads in the classifieds and gotten some sound advice, which I am following, I figured I'd share some of the enhancements I am making to my TC Hawken and Renegade. The pan/frizzen on my hawken will not hold powder at all. I contemplated replacing the lock, but got some...

WANTED L&R TC Lock (#03) FLINT

Thanks for the suggestion. I spoke to Brad and I'm gonna go the direction of having the lock tuned...it seems like a very do-able solution.

WANTED L&R TC Lock (#03) FLINT

Interesting that the TH lines up for some and not for others. I'll have to watch that... The frizzen on my hawken will not seal the pan, and I'm at the point of just wanting to replace it. So, I will likely take the plunge with the L&R. Thanks, erhunter, for the recommendation on Cabin Creek...

    Thompson Center Hawken Barrel Rebore

I connected with the Gun Works Emporium and it seems they have a 12 month backlog on these drop-ins, and are not presently working against the backlog as their breech plug supplier moved shops and has yet to restart production.

Sight setup on your squirrel/deer rifles?

For exactly the reasons TxFlynHog and Spikebuck mention, I run a Williams peep with their fire optic front sight on both my TC rigs. It has made a world of difference for hunting, which is all I do with these.
