    What if question

    00 buckshot is allowed in most states, and it's .33 caliber. Close to the .31 or .315 commonly used in the 32. How many buckshot pellets does it take to humanely kill a deer? Just something for comparison and discussion.

    I have a chance to pick up this rifle for a steal. Can anyone tell me about it? Sounds like it has never been shot. I normally hunt with a .54 caliber Lyman GPR, but it would be nice to bring a backup gun to elk camp.
