    Is this any good?

Nice pattern! I’m building one now. Can I ask where you found 24 gauge cards and wads? Track and October only show 20 and 28.

    Black runs on my stock.?!

I got this too, even using the toothpick. Not sure why or how, the line disappeared in a couple weeks. I’ve learned to remove the lock during cleaning and put the rifle muzzle down for a bit, then a final bore patch.

    Great Experience

I made my first knife purchase from Two Feathers, a perfect compliment to my Kibler’s! Purely my fault but I managed to pay for it twice as I’m unfamiliar with PayPal. Dave caught it and immediately credited my account. Shipping was very quick too. I strongly recommend Two Feathers, a stand up...

    Finishing a Kibler stock

Here’s my Kibler SMR. 2 sessions of wet then sand followed by one coat of Jim’s Iron Nitrate then heat gun. OOOO steel wool to apply the first coat of Tung Oil. A few more coats of Tung Oil still to go. I love how it turned out!

What flintlock style should I consider?

I agree. Jim will even assemble it for you, called “in the white” so only thing left for a hobbiest is to apply the finishes.
