    Ballistol puzzlement

Most (almost all) of my guns have been in the safe at my parents house for 5 years now...couple times a year I recharge the dehumidifiers but that is all the time I have. I moved to the bay area of California (commie-central) when I got married and didn't want to risk bringing my guns here...

    Source for Cast Minie Bullets?

$48.50 for 100 .575, $52.50 for .577 http://www.dixiegunworks.com/product_info.php?products_id=1367 back in the day one could get them cheap on ebay and other sites, now their rules prohibit projectiles I think. You can also try the gun auction websites

When I first started out I prelubed tons of stuff with Crisco...winter came and I put everything away for the next summer...I opened my range box to find it smelling to high heck...I darn near threw everything away that was in there!

    Slow match holder?

http://www.gggodwin.com/CartGenie/prod-895.htm Don't know if $60 is low cost, but that's the only one I recall seeing...I'm sure there are other sources though

    crisco

I use it as well, just don't let it sit out like I did...I had a small tub of it and some conicals lubed with it in my range box, I became busy with school and work and didn't shoot for bout a year....that was a couple years ago and my range box still smells a little rancid, even after cleaning...

    Strange Spike Tomahawk???

My first thought was a bent boarding axe [here is a cira 1700s boarding axe] The other thought was an axe created with a certain purpose, I'm not sure what, pulling logs/sticks, pulling hay stacks or corn stalks...not sure, but someone here with more knowledge on original accoutrements, I'd...
