    ML shotgun question

I’ve read nothing here about shot. I have a pedersoli 10 sxs will never run a ball through it. It’s for waterfowl. I have a tc 54 for four legged hunting. We can not use led shot. That limits use a lot. Chokes make loading very difficult when using steel and all the manure needed to protect the...

    8 shots a minute

Frontier is the name of a mini series in Netflix I’ve been watching. Setting is Hudson Bay during late 1700’s. They discussed a rifle that had capability of firing off 8 shots per minute. Any weapon shown was flintlock. Was there any thing capable of 8 shots per minute in that time

    What sight

I’m fairly new at this ML stuff. Have a lot to learn and a bit slower then when young. I’m 76. I have a tc new Englander 54, it shoots ok but I’m having trouble with tight groups and want to switch to a peep sight. Think my sight picture would be more consistent. I remember using peeps in the...

Mine from VA are from Oticon ON. For the first couple yeas batteries supplied from VA wee very poor. Many duds or only lasting 2-3 hours. Last batch were from Rayovac. Night and day difference. Batteries always last 3-4 days now. I use them 12-18 hrs per day.

    Lyman 257SML

Considering putting a Lyman sight on my TC New Englander. Rifle is good. Only had about a year but I’m 76 and eyes not so good as when I was younger. Having trouble getting consistent sight picture over the original V notch sight and my groups are not good. My tang has 2 screws. Understand I...

    ID Assistance

My neighbors son passed last fall. Terry had a interest in guns and a small collection she would like to regime. Not a lot of ML, a couple revolvers and a couple small cannons I think. The revolver shown I know nothing about. It has a serial number and some reference to Italy stamped on it...

    Pyrodex shortage, newbie question

I found some pyrodex in stock locally. Also while talking with and helping my neighbor over the weekend, her son passed away last fall, I was called to check on him and found him. She had some BP guns and accessories of his to get rid of. I bought some goex and about 7 tins of #11 caps and...
