    Cleaning after firing cap ?

    SHIPPING MUZZLELOADERS

    Any advice on how to ship guns when the USPS is so messed up? The UPS store near me won't take them and I won't take a chance on the post office.

    Brass inlay

    I have to attach a small piece of brass and don't want to use screws or pins. Can I safely use two part epoxy, and if I do will I have problems when I apply the aqua fortis later on? Thanks for any advice. Mike

    Am I correct in my understanding that range lead is OK for PRB in rifles but "pure" lead must be used in minie balls, revolver round balls and conicals? All advice appreciated. Mike

    I have 2 guns that shoot great with .010 patches. Can anyone tell me what material I can buy that would be that thickness? I've purchase mattress ticking but that is .015 and I would need a hammer to start a ball. I want to make my own patches rather than the prelubed which I have been using...

    Range lead

    Can I use range lead for casting round balls used in rifles? I've heard I need "pure" lead for pistols and minie balls but I was hoping to use some range lead in my Lyman Trade rifle and a 1841 Mississippi. Any advice is always appreciated. Mike
