    Coat the ends with Anchorseal. Sticker planks or blanks where you get air flow through the stack. Cover the stack with sheet metal or wood. If you sticker blanks make sure to cut them oversize. They can shrink more than you think.... Figure one inch per year but don't be surprised if some...

    Works perfectly. Made of steel and heat blued. John told me he made the capper when he was learning to engrave. He has built and engraved many firearms. Mostly flintlock and percussion rifles. Yes, John can do many things. Here he is at 79 this summer, carving a CZ stock in my shop.

    Some of my old picket rifles have just plain rods with no ends. Perty sure they're there just so it looks like nothings missing. Buddy of mine has been making all sorts of ramrods for years on his lap with a hand plane. They are beautiful.
