    1976 Navy Arms 12ga ( Pedersoli) nipple size?

    I have an older 1976 Navy Arms 12ga made by pedersoli. I need to know the nipple size. The newer guns take 1/4 x 28 thread but I am not sure about the older ones.

    I see some of the high end percussion shotguns for sale in cases with flasks , shot dippers etc. What powder flask was the most common ? I am building a case for one of mine and want to add the proper accessories.

    A few snipe with the sxs.

    Snipe finally showed up with the cold weather. Made it out for a few , the 12 bore is cylinder bore in both barrels and is probably my favorite upland gun. Headed out in the am for another round.

    Pedersoli sxs ?

    I have a late 70s navy arms sxs built by Pedersoli. When firing the left barrel I am getting a ton of blowback from the nipple. Actually getting pieces of the cap imbedded in my wrist. What is the fix? Running way under recommended load. Tried switching nipples no luck.
