    Holes are widened out. Screws will not retain the thimble.

    The thimbles are the type that are retained with two small screws. This also serves as the barrel lug. I hate the design.... The holes on the bottom of the brass thimbles are worn out and the screws no longer hold them in place.

    Shot some paper today ..... Best results were 25 -30yds , 75gr- 80grs of 2F pushing 11/2 oz of bismuth #3. One nitro card on the charge and one thin card over the shot
