    Yes, those are them. They have a hollow base. They dont shoot at all in my Encore or my Impact. How do they shoot for you?

    I dont know how you can go so many shots without cleaning the barrel. I clean it every shot, but every other shot works fine too. What am I doing wrong? I only shoot roundball though.

    Thompson center hawken 1"48

    I have 2 1/48" twists and a 1/66" twist. The 1/66" shoots the round balls better , however, it is a Green mountain barrel compared to 2 used 1/48" . I am sure a custom barrel in 1/48" would shoot very well. I cant however get my 1/48 " to shoot a bullet at all. The other one I never tried...

    This is some really good info. I have plenty of primers and about 700 #11 caps. However, I have not seen a primer in months and # 11 caps are getting hard to find too.

    I have only used CCI # 11 and # 11 Magnums . I dont see a difference. I have seen a red container pack but didn't buy them. I was getting #11 Mag all last yr for $ 4.38 . Then they went to $ 9.50. I then found some #11 at Cabelas and got 2 packs for free cause I had $25 gift money of reigning...

    For some reason , I just would rather shoot my TC Hawken. I must admit however, I snicker when some at the range look at me funny when I take it out. They stop snickering when I outshoot them.

    I have regular ticking patch material of about .018 to .02 . I have a hunch I am too light on the lube. I seldom lube much cause I always wondered if it ruins the powder.

    Rust stopping oil

    I shot my Hawken Tuesday and the next day I had some rust and was upset. I re applied some gun oil to the barrel. Only thing I can figure is there was some water in there yet. I have had a hard time keeping rust out of my new GM Barrel and dont know why. I actually send a patch down the next day...
