    100 yard range cut in the woods, only 5 steps from the door to the bench. Steel targets, both fixed and swinging targets at 25,50,75 and 100. Pivoting to the side is a 25 yarder with 3 swinging targets. Bought this piece of mountain to build on 43 years ago so I could shoot when I wanted.

    He's the reason I have my GG grandfather's powder horn. It hung in my Grandmother's dining room and she gave it to me because I idolized Davy Crockett. Davy, his buddy George and Big Mike Fink were larger than life figures who sure made big impressions on this little kid.

    Welcome from across the river in Maryland. Deep family roots are in Hampshire, Hardy and Jefferson counties. Mom's family came to Maryland to work at Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown during WW2, Dad's family (Jefferson County) bought a farm on this side of the river near Williamsport in the 1920's.

    As long as it's real tin and lead pewter and not modern repo stuff. Plain old lead/tin solder is also great way to add a bit of tin to your lead.

    It looks so well preserved that I think it's a repo. Most 150+ year old cardboard looks far worse unless carefully stored in a museum. The bee's wax sealing the cartridge box would have become degraded and sticky. YMMV.
