Which state is the best for ML?

In Arkansas we had 41 days available to us to hunt with a muzzleloader with 13 of those being a separate ml season for deer. We have a ton of national forest areas available access but you better be in good shape to traverse the terrain of the Ozark Mountains.

    CVA Mountain rifle

I recall reading somewhere that just because it says “made in the USA” doesn’t mean the barrel was made here. Only the first year (or possibly only the prototype) may have been Douglas barrels. The contract for the barrels went to Spain, made to CVA’s specifications, early on and they were...

    Cva Hawken guys! Need advice

The CVA barrels are accurate. The 15/16 in 54 is by far my favorite. The hook breech seems to be more user friendly for me.

    Cva Hawken guys! Need advice

It will take another 50-60 bucks to complete the barrel with factory parts. You will need the barrel rib, 3 rib screws, 2 thimbles and screws, 2 under lugs and a set of sights.

Will Your ML Kit Become Classified as a Ghost Gun #2

muzzleloaders would have to be redefined to consider them a “ghost gun”: Antique Firearm Exception The term “firearm” is very broad and includes almost everything that a person could shoot. For hunters or people that want to carry a gun for subject to the Federal firearm possession prohibition...

Really like your horn, nice work and thanks for the inspiration by sharing with us. Question: Do y’all thin the horn walls to make it flatten evenly or just go with it as is?
