Yes. I dabble in cabnet making and when I got my Kit from TOTW was intemidated, It is better to have a book or two to refrence while building. I have the one by chuck dixion. It looks bad when you open the box and see what you have to do, but you will be able to get going . Go slow and a nice...

    Who knows about Barking?

My dad could do it with a 30-30, but preferd a .22 as the big gun still bruised them. It was amazing to see him shoot that .22, see the poof and then a dead squirl with out a scratch on it.

    gun prices

Compare traditional muzzle loading to traditional archery. About two years ago to get a good boring production bow from the big company's would run you $500 +- bucks, And a custom could get $1,000 +. You could find good bows at garage sales, Auction sites etc, etc. Most folks shot the compound...

I dropped a tiny flash light down the barrel to see what it looks like. It is shiny with dull patches (my rust) I will continue with the bore brush and then patches, and if necessary I will do dome serious scrubbing. Thanks again for the info. I thought it was a goner.

About a year ago I bought a rifle kit from TOTW. I pretty much opened it up and made sure everything was there, packed it back up and put it in the closet to start the next day. I recently took it out to get started and all the metal parts are rusty. It all cleaned up good and the barrel is fine...

    What is a .50 Clements?

For the most part, But it can be weird. Was hunting hogs in Sam Houston Natl forest last weekend. I had a Ruger Old Army in a holster as i had just bought it and wanted to shoot it to try out. Now I was primarily using a bow . I was stopped and checked all went well. I was told it was not leagle...

    What is a .50 Clements?

Muzzleloader: Any firearm that is loaded only through the muzzle. Note: A cap and ball firearm in which the powder and ball are loaded into a cylinder is not a muzzleloader. Muzzleloader deer seasons are restricted to muzzleloading firearms only. That is from TPWD here is the link...

The article sed he wanted a cap and ball hand gun that would handle Texas game, Well I think he got one that will handle more. To bad he waisted his money as cap & ball revolver is not leagle for hunting big game in Texas.
