    Great Time at the Range

    Had a great morning at the rifle range. Good weather and fun shooting, but most importantly six people that have never shot a traditional muzzleloader can now say they have fired a flintlock, and one was a kid (about 12 years old). One guy had so much fun he asked where he could get one.

    San Jacinto Day is Friday, April 21. The ceremonial stuff (speeches, gunfire salutes) will be at the monument (East of Houston) Friday AM. The battle reenactment will be Saturday afternoon about 3:00. Get there early to watch, lots of people. Participation is by invitation only. Hope to see...
