    Replacement Springs Needed

I have a keepsake gun that I would to repair for my brother-in-law. It is a double barrel, 36 caliber pistol, called "Snake eyes" way back when. Both hammer springs are broken, and replacements are not available. I tried making new ones, but that was unsuccessful. Does anyone know where I...

    SOLD SOLD --- Italian Dragoon

ASM Dragoon, Third Model, flip-up rear sights, machined for shoulder stock. Manufacturing date code is AF. I added a taller front sight, so it hits to point of aim at 25 yards on the lowest sight blade, 50 yards on the second. Don't know about the third; maybe 100 yards? It uses .451 balls...

Home Brew Holster for 1862 Uberti Colt

I recently made this holster for my Uberti Colt 1862 Police Pocket model, date code CA, 36 caliber, 5-1/2" barrel. The holster is nothing fancy, with no carving or other embellishments. It is not a direct copy of anything, but just an amalgamation of ideas I liked from other holster I have...

    What's It Worth?

I was given a muzzle loading percussion rifle several years ago for some work I did for a friend. I have almost no experience with guns like this, and have never fired it. Bluing and stock finish are in good condition, with a few scuffs here and there. Bore looks nearly new. The barrel is...

Japanese-made reproduction of a London Tower pistol. 14-1/2" overall length, approximately .66" bore diameter, 9" barrel length. Gun fires reliably. I have shot it a total of 18 times; I bought a bag of 25 balls from Track of the Wolf, .610", and have 7 left, which I will include with the...

44 caliber, 5" barrel, brass frame, AA stamped on frame (1975 manufacture?). I think it is made by Pietta (see pictures below). Bore and chambers look like new. Everything functions the way it is supposed to, and no peening of frame. Cylinder is not engraved. Uses .451" balls. CCI #10 caps...

    SOLD Civil War Repro Knife

For sale is a genuine reproduction of an actual Civil War era knife and leather sheath. ;) :) The knife is an Indian or Pakistani made knife, and is a decoration only, too lightly constructed for actual field use. It has been heavily aged, with rust and chips along the blade. It does have...

    Noisy Walker

I thought it would be fun to have a short barreled 1847 Walker, especially after noting how the AR-15 crowd at the gun range reacted when I was shooting my 9" barreled Walker last summer; they were very surprised and curious about the noise, smoke, and fireball! I always shoot it with full...

Very Happy With New Lee Bullet Mold

I bought a new Lee 375-RB bullet mold last summer. This mold casts 36 caliber round balls. I used it for the first time last night to make about 450 pure lead bullets in a very short amount of time. I prepped the new mold in accordance with the instructions, and it worked perfectly, from the...

    Were Colt Dragoon Cylinders Blued?

In another thread regarding Colt Walker revolvers, it was pointed out that the original Walker revolvers had cylinders left in the white. Does this hold true for the Dragoon models also, or were they blued? The cylinder on my AF (1980 manufacture) Armi San Marco Third Model Dragoon is blue.

    A New Holster Maker!

I have a Russian friend named Kamil (which is actually a Turkish name). Interestingly, he served in the Soviet Army, and was stationed in Dresden, East Germany in the mid 1980s, and I drove past that army base when I was there, long before I ever met him. He said life in the Soviet military...

    Uberti Walker replica

I bought a replica Colt Walker last week, made by Uberti. The previous owner had de-farbed it, and given it an aged finish, but had never fired it.

    Minnesota Black Powder Enthusiast

I just joined the forum a few days ago, and am enjoying my time here. I have 9 black powder handguns of various types, but no rifles yet. I have only been into muzzle loading for a few years, but I get a lot of enjoyment from it, and hope to increase my knowledge of the sport.
