I am sorry about my posts on casting

I have posted many times on the subject but have come to a conclusion. A friend came to learn to cast RB's and it took me back to all those friends and fellow shooters I have tried to teach. I find it can't be done! This fellow was maybe the worst. I showed him and he even took a video but when...

    Black walnuts

I never seen so many. I have picked up a few million from my yard, also the woods is full of acorns and hickery. But almost no squirrels. It was so dry for a long time I think most moved closer to water. I started a bucket of walnut stain since my can is almost empty.

Making a kit when old and shaky

My friend is going to buy a fine CNC machined kit. He wants me to help by making it here and he will do the work as I holler at him. Sounds like a plan to get back to work. I wonder if I can teach him to add some carving?

    Stand to hold pistol.

Started to shoot my Traditions pistol and it is hard to load so I took scrap walnut and oak to make a stand so it is easy to load. Rain keeps me from testing. Maybe I can get my camera to work so I can add a picture.

    Jerky

I took 2 days to make a batch. Store bought mix. it has a cure and seasonings but says it is good for only 2 weeks in the fridge. Seems to me it should last forever. Indians dried meat in the sun or over a smoky fire and now we stuff with chemicals. They ground the meat and added fat and berries...
