    I shot some maxi hunter bullets today 295 gr with 90 grains Pyrodex rs and it shot real nice. Think I will stick to that load for this Muzzleloader season.

    Yes it is a 50 cal. and I plan to use the Hornady bullets with 80 grains pyrodex. Thanks for the input!

    YUP I had that info even with musket caps and the conversion not reliable so I stick with old faithful number 11's.
