    What was your first Muzzleloader?

    My first bp gun was CVA blazer.[see previous post].My first new gun was a TC New Englander .I purchased it with a 54 cal. barrel,I later purchased the 12 ga. barrel for it.Still haveit,use it.love it.

    yep,once while on the way out huntin, I stopped to fillup while waiting for the nozzle to click off I thought I'd check my hunting pack. The gas pump clicked , and I topped i t off, went inside to pay and immediately drove off with my pack sitting on the bumper.I lost a good release...

    50 or 54 for round ball shooter?

    I 'm an advocate of the 54, I've shot deer with both .bigger is better[in this instance]. Larger ball, more Kinetic energy, bigger hole =better blood trail,only negative is it's getting harder to find ammo.
