What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Finished my third shoulder pouch. Made it for a hunting buddy. Nothing spectacular, simple “homemade” Now to work on his sheath, can be carried on the pouch or on his belt.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Not really “today”, but a couple of small knives made from putty knives that were broken in some way.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Well, lol, finished it. Along with the monstrosity of a woven strap. Now that I know what I doing, well, sorta🤣🤣🤣, I’ll make a better strap. Since it’s shorter than anticipated, I’ll put this one on my 5 year olds grandsons little powder horn. It should last him a few years.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Finally finished my second shoulder pouch, minus strap. I’m starting my first attempt at weaving a strap for it. Not the proper rings, but, it works for me.

Sierras deer hunt this past weekend

thank you. luckily, in person, it's not that bright. The camera made it look a lot brighter than it actually is. It's a dull pillow ticking print.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Well, since this last weekend’s hunting trip proved a plethora of learning about my kit, I had to do some adjustments. The knife sheath on the back of my possible sack proved unworthy of keeping the knife properly secured. So today I made a belt sheath for it. Lol as you can see, a few errors...

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

It’s actually been a two day project. It started out with a liner but I did something wrong. So I just removed it. Another “fireplace” project, ugly sister to the other projects I’ve done.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Upgraded my shoulder sack. Added a ticking liner to the flap and some green edging. Left the bottom open for use as a pocket for small lightweight items. Not pretty, again, went for the “homemade” look
