looks amazing! is it hard to stitch leather? I'm rather new to Muzzle Loading and as a rookie mistake bought a bag that in hind sight, may be a bit bigger than I really Need. thought about making making my own, but don't know the first thing about leather working.

    My new bag and horn

Boy howdy! you guys have some sweet kit. I think the misses might be a bit upset with me when she sees the shopping list you guys have helped inspire. By the looks of it, i have some catching up to do, and in a big way.

    TVM Rifle Question

i believe its blued as browning is an older method... to be honest I'm not sure, and i went with the premium super curly Maple (the highest up grade). i love the tiger stripe look, maybe should have went with a lighter stain in hind sight though... looks better in person.

no problem brother, laws here concerning firearms are a bit ridiculous. as far as i know flintlocks (and the like) are considered collectors items, not firearms in most cases. for example, i bought my 0.54, 42 inch barrel, flintlock from a Tennessee Valley Muzzle loaders and had it shipped...

    Cocking arm not staying cocked...

is it normal for the lock to function normally and then stop suddenly? I tested the lock out before firing, just to make sure it was making sparks, then stopped after a few shots were actually fired. I didn't tighten or loosen any screws or bolts before hand. after disassembly, it looks like it...

    Cocking arm not staying cocked...

I think i have this same problem with my TVM Poor Boy. the lock works well if i set the front trigger before i lock it back, but if i dont, as soon as i go from half to full cock, it sets the cock instantly to the fired position. the lock works great though, out side the lock mortise.

    TVM Rifle Question

i just received my TVM Tennessee Poor Boy, fried it three or four times and now it wont lock back into the full locked position. i think it might be a trigger messing with the sear bar sort of a thing, but not something I'd like to deal with right away, especially for the cost and a 9 month...
