    What did I win?

I am figuring I will keep one and sell one. Most likely will keep the one with the modern buttpad. I already own and shoot repro Civil war guns (1851 Navy, 1853 Enfield, 1861 & 1863 Springfields, 1863 Sharps, and I just bought a Pedersoli 1859 Berdan Sharps for a screaming deal) I think my...

Intrest in a Gardner Bullet mold?

Unfortunately, the company cannot make the flanged/unformed version, so it looks like it would just be the "formed bullet. this is what I sent them. They cannot make the one on the right

Intrest in a Gardner Bullet mold?

The only way I could see you doing this would probably to make a Type 1 cleaner that had the lead stud on the base that the zinc scrapper was attached to. I could see this easily getting made, really would just need to modify for example a Lyman die with a removable base plug. Modify the plug...

Intrest in a Gardner Bullet mold?

Yes it is a .58 Cal bullet. The paper held the gunpowder as a "complete" cartridge. You would tear the paper, pour the powder, then ram the bullet. here is a link to some great info on it http://www.baymediapro.com/gardner_machine.pdf

    Musket caps

I meant CCI not Hornady, apologize. Which makes me ask the question as I dont know. Will the number 11's even fit on the repro nipples of, for example a Euroarms or Armisport Enfield?

    Musket caps

Hornady makes dual purpose caps now for CW muskets that use the 4 wing caps. I have used them with zero issue shooting (I dont reenact) and hunting

Intrest in a Gardner Bullet mold?

The confederates designed it so that the paper for the powder was held in place by the bullet itself. It was cast with a flange that was folded down onto the paper completing the cartridge...
