    TC Crocket question

Definitely the Cherokee. I have a .45 with double trigger and a .32 with a single trigger. The barrels are interchangeable.

    Kibler Hawken?

Would the rifle be flintlock or percussion, or both? If he makes the Hawken, I'll buy my first flintlock.

It's the NTG 100 v2 model. Looks sold out on Amazon but still on Ebay.

    45 Caliber Maxi-Ball in a 50 Caliber Sabot?

No worries. It's just the standard heads up. Congrats on the big score of maxis. I have a TC .45 Hawken and they're crazy accurate. Buy another rifle. Its the law! No lead must go unfired. 😀

    TC Crocket question

Here's some pics of how much 3F is required to fill the 'improved breech of a .32 TC Cherokee. 12 grains. Empty 5 gr 10 gr 12 gr full I'll be using no less than 12 gr or be using a filler to remove airspace from powder to ball.

    45 Caliber Maxi-Ball in a 50 Caliber Sabot?

I'd melt them down. Prepare for rules lecture. 😄

    TC Crocket question

If you do find a Cherokee, it's a bonus if it has double set trigger. The single trigger one is not very nice. Crazy trigger pull.

    Cold! Still Shoot?

I do shoot the postal matches. I missed Oct. That was the one you had the highest score and told the rest of us we weren't shooters.

    Cold! Still Shoot?

I went to my shoot today with full intentions of shooting the December postal shoot but forgot to bring the target.😖 Next week. I did manage to win our Doc Harrison Memorial Shoot and a 15 lb. turkey!🦃

    Rust In The Bore

Interesting that you mentioned Fluid Film. I use it on my rigging that I chain down heavy equipment on my lowbed. I've never considered using it on my firearms. I'm going to give it a try after my shoot tomorrow.

    Those pesky Pedersoli Patent (Breeches)

4F blasts the poop right out of the breech so no cleaning necessary! 🤭

    Mystery Hawken

You might get lucky and find some really nice grain under that faux finish. I have a couple of Investarms rifles and they have really nice wood. Mine are '78 and '79. Hopefully they were getting similar wood in '81.

    It should do this. https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZvRBXRDfuaV5FTfYA

Here's the chart again. Yup. 1981 Investarms. Definitely worth saving.

    Cold! Still Shoot?

I went out today and it ended up milder than I expected. I got my .50 Safari Arms rifle dialed in. I did have the heater on over my shooting position though.🌡

    Cold! Still Shoot?

I'm going to go to the range to shoot the postal contest target today. It's going to be around 32° F today. I'm going to be working up a load and sighting in an Investarms Plains rifle. The range has overhead gas heaters that I usually find annoying but I think I'll turn one on today. Once I...
