    you could be right but with the right twist and linen patches i use 100. doesnt drop much at 200 yards. my favorite bag was a buck racoon at 30 yards on the canadian border. shot it out of a tree, had him tanned and still have the hide.

    use a 445 round ball and a pure line patch and with that gun and twist ,it will not fail you, i always use at least 100 grains of powder and mine never failed me, yours wont either.

    have 12 of them and had to replace a small part in only one of them. i would never ever buy a pietta, if i could affort real colts i would. however i had a real colt ssa and my uberti ssa was much better made that a 1970 ssa colt.
