    Replacement stock

OK, with the help of some of the members I will try to put up pictures. I think the brass nose cap and ramrod holders are something new he bought. The barrel is almost 52" and measures around .68 inside the muzzle but it is worn so I'm not sure of the caliber.

    Replacement stock

Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this but here goes. My brother-in-law got an old muzzle loader that supposedly is from the early 1800s. Sorry, wasn't trying to discuss it . Was just replying to someone that mentioned center-fire. Said I liked mine but wanted to start shooting flintlocks. Trying to learn more about them now. I like the long ones like the one you have on your profile picture.

    Finally got a flintlock

I like my centerfire Sharps. It still uses black powder. But looking to take the plunge into flintlocks.

    Another Newbie

Been shooting BPCR for a while now and thought I might try my hand at Flintlocks. I played with some caplocks years ago but always wanted to try Flints. Not sure what I am wanting yet but I really like the long rifles. I don't know much about the styles yet. Seems like the majority shoot 50 and...
