    Ithought about that and muzzleloader pistols are more then welcome and encouraged. I would like to see a one shot 75 yards match and they could most definitely compete in. Maybe even a duling pistles match. Two guys line up side by side and each lowers and shoot an apple on a stick 20 paces away.

    What was the distanced that bill hickok shot the other guy right in the heart on the springfield missouri square? Was it 75 feet or 75 yards? We all need to learn to do that.

    I love cap and ball and would rather shoot them than my modern guns. The only part I dont like is the hangup between shots such as a cap jamming me up. I have learned to bring my cocking action all the way back to let loose cap material fall away but is there anything else I can do to speed up...

    If i had a .45cal muzzleloader and i put 70 grains of powder under a flat nose or ball bullet would it be the same as shooting a 45-70 cartridge round? Would the speed and energy be about the same?

    I want a nice hawken type rifle but instead of caps i want it to be a flint lock. can that happen? i actually want a pedersolie rocky mountain hawken with all its nice curly maple wood but i want it to be flint lock. why can this not happen? how can it happen?
