    Flintlock scores again

    Very slow day, only saw one deer, a doe at 3:15, didn’t give me a shot but this one wandered into the food plot at 4:30. It was a high shoulder shot that drops them where they stand. .50 cal, 90gr FFF with .495/.015 bear oil lubed patch. 40yds. @tallpine knife easily cleans another!

    Last day deer

    Last day for me this season in Pa., passed on a few this size earlier but not on the last day. Does anyone else see sausage? .50 cal, .495 .010 oiled patch over 90gr FFF Shot was just through front of shoulder - exit neck on opposite side. Didn’t go far.

    Shot a doe at 4:00 today. .54 cal with 80gr behind a .535 ball and .010 patch. Hit in the chest and ran a good ways (??).
