    I am going to make a mock set up for a brass casting that em compasses the barrel and the front point of the curved schnabel. Sort of what you see on some-----muskets. Me thinks it would add not only strength but an added embellishment that would really make it pop as one of a kind. Not queen...

    I have this part....

    that was sent to me years ago by DGW. It was supposed to be for my 1858 Rem at the time. I believe it may be for a Spiller and Burr? It is the cylinder latch. Way too thick for the rem. Rather than throw it out i kept it. If someone can indentify and needs it let me know and I will mail it out .
