    Yes Bobby Hoyt can cut rifling as well. I had him punch out my 56 cal SB to 20 gauge (.615 bore) to turkey hunt with it.

    Another 56 TC Smoothbore Thread

    I had a brand new 56 SB barrel and had Bobby Hoyt punch it to 20g. Last week I ordered some #5 copper plated shot and all the cards I need. I've never shot a BP smoothbore but going to try and kill a turkey this spring with it. Load development as soon as it warms up a bit.

    i have a PA hunter stock with a 45 cal 26” Hawken barrel installed. Its a perfectly ballanced shooter and I have a TC peep on it as well. I’m leaning towards just building a 50 cal barrel for it. I have never been a fan of 1” renegades.

    TC New Englander Barrel on a Penn Hunter?

    I bought a brand new NOS Penn Hunter. The barrel channel fits a 15/16th’s octagon barrel. I modified an early 45 caliber Hawken barrel to put in it. Fits like a glove and made a nice 24inch barrelled 45 carbine. I sold the PA barrel last year As I don’t shoot roundball.
