WANTED Heheh, yeah, I am still alive and looking for some input.... or a project.

I know what you mean. Now "authentic" can mean many things to many people and having grown up around farm people that modified literally everything for themselves...... here is where I am at. None of my "kits" have turned out as stock.... heheh, I love to recontour things to fit me, my style...

WANTED Heheh, yeah, I am still alive and looking for some input.... or a project.

That would be nice to have, but I am looking to keep everything in the .50 to .32 cal range....... nice looking gun otherwise for sure!

I am looking daily now, so just need to find the right fit for me and my skill levels.

WANTED Heheh, yeah, I am still alive and looking for some input.... or a project.

In the past I have "assembled" a few Traditions kits, and now that the weather is getting a bit colder, I was wondering what others would suggest I attempt next. I got into drones last spring, and am having a hoot with them, but when the weather is below 32 degrees f. I cannot fly. I am not a...

    Cleaning kit suggestions wanted.

Thanks again everyone, sincerely. It has now been over 40 years since I have actually fired a BP anything, which is why I came here to get opinions. Back then, I knew nothing, and still have much to learn again.... Zonie, thanks for the link and heads up. I will be going in that direction for...

    Cleaning kit suggestions wanted.

By "kit" what I meant was something along the lines of the Remington "kit". Something that would cover everything I own, which includes a few modern firearms..... I think I will just pick this one up for now, and move on. Thanks for the input everyone, as usual, much appreciated.

    Cleaning kit suggestions wanted.

I am looking for a cleaning kit for all of my rifles and pistols... something that would cover from .32 cal to .50 cal. This fall I am actually going to shoot all of them after assembling, tweaking, and buying what I have now..... a rather exciting prospect to me! What I have is a .32...

WANTED Pietta 1858 Stainless Non Target .44

I have been checking the forum for the past 3 months or so, and have not seen a Pietta 1858 (Remington) stainless for sale as of late, so I am posting this in hopes of someone having one for sale that is not a target model. I sold both of my target models due to the fact I did not need, nor...

SOLD Early Thompson Center Patriot .45 for sale

True, but everyone needs a starting point. Negotiate with me, or offer up a trade, and I am open...…. Prior to selecting my price point, I did do a bit of research as to what others are "asking" for the Patriot, and I found the high points to be above $550, so I chose $450. The lows were in the...

SOLD Early Thompson Center Patriot .45 for sale

Little to no interest here, so posting other places now. Open to some 1858 Remington style trades that are not target models, nor stainless. Pietta preferred, and must be in very fine / "new" condition. Other interesting trades considered... my period is Civil War era, so keep that in mind.

SOLD Early Thompson Center Patriot .45 for sale

$450 plus shipping to where allowed. Due to some recent, and unexpected, health issues my wife is having, I will be selling off parts of my "collection". The Patriot will be the only one I will be posting here, as I really want this particular one to go to someone that will appreciate it for...

Thompson Center Patriot added to my "collection".

I like that idea arcticap, I probably will hang on to it for a bit, and when the right situation arises do something with it as in a trade etc. Although it is not in the time frame that I am focusing on, it is somewhat of a rare find in this condition.

Thompson Center Patriot added to my "collection".

I have been reading about the cracking in the stocks when loading on a stand, or using a higher charge. The thing has never been fired since new, so I do believe it will stay that way as long as I have it. Thanks for the input, much appreciated!

Thompson Center Patriot added to my "collection".

I just received a rather early Patriot from what I can tell. Low serial number in the 4000 range, and no brass nose cap. Never fired!!!! I like it, but not sure if it will be staying here. Just looking for input.... yes, I have looked up everything I can find.... Keep, or ?
