FOR SALE Nice Antique Half Stock Percussion Rifle

Hammer and trigger functions fine. Tiny bit of wiggle in the drum. Stock in good shape. Pls don’t ask how the bore is, I do not have means of removing the breach plug and lighting up the inside. Not selling as a shootable weapon but I’m sure it would fire fine. No liability on my end. No...

    Antique double barrel flintlock

So I have had this awhile, she sure is pretty. Auction house said it was napoleonic era. Who knows One of the locks needs work. Who can I send it to? I’m sure someone here is a high tier flintlock antique worker. But maybe not? And pls don’t say not to touch it. There is no way altering the...

Looking for large lead balls for my 80 cal

Hey y’all I have a massive 80 cal Fowler and would like to get a tight ball for it. I can only find a .760 from track of the wolf. Anywhere I can get a .775 lead round ball since it’s the same as 10 gauge?

What are y’all grouping with fowlers ?

So I got a 20 gauge. I am using 80 grains FF, covering with a wad, and a naked .615 ball on top. At 50 yards I am doing about 5”groups with 4 shots. I’m sure this can be improved when I get more rounds through it and become more comfortable with it

    My Baker Bayonet came in

Curious…is it slightly angled by design? Or is it because it’s not handfit to this particular piece

WOW - My baker came in!

Circa 1829. ‘Ramsey Sutherland’ Contract. Unbelievable condition. Ended up being about 7500$. Did I do good or bad. I am amazed at the craftsmanship of this thing

Anyone know much about civil war sharpshooters ?

It appears there are numerous repro scopes for clone builds which is nice. What’s confusing me is I am reading about these target rifles that are insanely heavy at close to 25 pounds. Was this accurate for military means? Or were Sharps Rifles, Half stock plains rifles, and Whitworth Rifles...

An original! Priced piece in my collection

Auction house said 1640s but who knows, I’m sure they just say that to increase its relevance to the English civil war. The odd ball to it is it has a steel plate which I’m assuming wasn’t super common ?

    1795 Springfield :)

Needing a spring for my trigger assembly

Trying to figure out what to do here. Vid should explain it
  17. T

What are y’all’s thoughts on my baker?

It’s not a real one obviously. Definitely looks nice that’s for sure. It’s .65 cal with 100/200/300 meter flip up sights which is unique.

Where can I get a bayonet bar for my baker rifle ?

Are these easy to add to the weapon? I have one without a bar.

    Kentucky rifle trigger assembly

I cross posted this on the builder page, but in a more broader sense…maybe someone here can advise. I am missing a spring that goes inside the trigger that allows this 2 stage system to work. (A) any idea how to replace this part (B) OR can I simply plop in my own assembly? I would prefer a...

    Flintlock rifle - need part

I lost the spring that makes these two stage triggers work. Where can I get one? I pointed to the whole where the old spring went. Also, I hate the 2 trigger setup. Can these be changed out for just 1 trigger? I don’t know much about building these
