    Kibler Woodsrunner historical accuracy

I am glad that the Woodsrunner had the butt plate already fitted and installed. I really hate fitting/installing butt plates.

    Turkey season.....

Sounds good. But I would also use mylar with the shot cups/wads. There are several YouTube videos about how to reload TSS with mylar. As I was informed it is better to be a bit practical than to ruin a gun barrel.

That looks very nice. Good job!

    Turkey season.....

Unless you are using a wad of some kind I would not use TSS in a muzzleloader. I load TSS for turkeys in an unmentionable. From what I was told and trained to do was place a mylar sleeve inside the wad as a second line of protection. The TSS is harder than the barrel and could/can damage the...

    .50 cal vs hog

I took a 120 lb female during the Florida muzzleloader season with my flintlock. I shot her in the neck at 45 yards. The round ball exited and destroyed her neck and shoulder.

Accuracy difference between FFFG & FFG

My hunting partner's Seneca is very accurate with 60 grains FFg (Goex) with .440 ball with a .015 Mink Oil lubed patch. She has killed several hogs and deer with that load.

This is what happens when states allow liberals from California and other socialist states move into their state.

    .36 cal rifle kit

Have you looked at a Kibler kit? I know he has flintlocks, but maybe he could work up a percussion for you. Couldn't hurt to ask.

How to find a good rifle similar to Mike Lange Rugrat

You might look for a T/C Seneca or Cherokee. I got a Seneca .45 for my hunting partner and she has killed a hog and 2 does with hers (And no it is not for sale 😊). You sometimes can find then for sale in the Classified section or Gun Broker.

    Plugged Fire Channel

When I clean my TC Hawken, I remove the nipple and run a pipe cleaner thru the hole. I do this several times with a twisting motion. I hope this helps.

    Seneca Lock Parts

I call The Gun Works Tuesday and talked to Joe & Suzi and they had the part I needed. The part arrived today and the Seneca has been repaired and ready for the next range day. I will now have a happy hunting partner; her rifle is fixed.

    Seneca Lock Parts

Does anyone know of a source for T/C Seneca lock parts? My hunting partner was shooting hers this weekend and the hammer would not stay cocked. After removing the lock, I found that the sear screw was broken; so I need to find a replacement. I have contacted T/C about the part but I am...
