    I have wondered what some of the great powder horns looked like before the masters got hold of them. I'm going to show what I use ,they don't turn out like the great one on this forum, but I can still make usable horns from them.

    This is my latest attempt at saving old horns from my old longhorn ranching days. These were not going to be long horns, so they were converted into grill folder! The one on the left is the mate to the one I worked on.

    My 83rd birthday present.

    My wife gave me the SMR 45CAL and I made the bag and powder horn. This is my third Kibler all on birthdays,75th was a 36cal SMR ,the 80th was a Colonial 54cal. Can't wait until the 11th to shoot it on my birthday.

    Grandpa's shotgun

    This is my grandfather's shotgun. He got it from his school teacher in Borden,Indiana back in early 1900.It has not been shot since 1948 or 49. My Father shot a squirrel and both barrels went off ,due to wear between barrels. Nice old gun that will go to my son then to his son.

    Starting load for .50CAL GPR 1 IN 24 TWIST.

    I need your good advise for a place to start getting this rifle up and running. The rifle in question is shown with my trusty old .54 cal CVA BIG BORE . THE LEAD I'll be using is shown in the other photo. Any help is appreciated.

    Different way to display European mount.

    Here is a picture of my brother-in-law's deer that got dropped ,breaking the nose area. A tallinted niece painted it using chop sticks sharpened to different sizes.

    Salt and Pepper container

    Made from elk antler found by a grandson, ebony left over from knife project, plugs made from juniper tree where step son was killed in a truck accident. Has lots of memories. It even works!

    Latest purchase RMH

    Ib found this in my local gun shop. It is as clean and pretty as a new one. It was made in 2008 according to the cc code on the barrel. It came with 200 .495 round balls ,cleaning equipment and patches. I figured I needed something new to work up loads for. Here is all the photos I have so far.

    Finally got my Kibler Colonial finished.

    My left arm doesn't work between the shoulder and elbow. I wasn't in much hurry as I haven't figured out just how is the best way to shoot it! Plan on getting help from the grand kids to do the shooting.

    Belt bag

    This is a bag I picked up at St Charles ,Mo . It was at a Louis& Clark Rendezvous back in the 70's . I bought the shell and lined it with leather and made it into a belt bag. It will carry a good amount of stuff.
