I punch out over-powder cards from 1/2 gallon juice cartons. Cards take up very little room in the chamber. They help to seal the chamber and to keep any lube separate from the powder. -

Oversized Revolver Chambers
I think that a lot of light is being reflected in the photo due to over-exposure and the white background. Because of the angle of the photo, there's no indication that he needs a new and deeper crown because it can't even be fully seen. I don't see anything wrong with the bore either... -
