    Identity and loads

Anyone have an idea of who built this. Also wondering what should be used for loads. Says 12 mm but the barrel only measures about .40 not .47

    Finally

No idea who made it and no manual with it. Could use some ideas for loads.

    Finally

Tried everything. Finally looked at the hammer and there’s a divot in the centre. Put a drop of solder in there and it goes off every time now.

    Finally

Finally got my 36 cal the other day. Want to shoot it. Only problem is it won’t set the caps off. Have to hit them 3 or 4 times. Already made sure the hammer is hitting them properly. Almost think the nipple is a little too big.

    New to me pistol

Thanks. Will probably remote fire it with a single load. Getting 100 balls for it. Will probably last my lifetime.

    1861 Enfield Musketoon accuracy problem.

Trying to get my muzzleloaders sighted in. This is a Parker Hale Enfield Musketoon. The problem is that it consistently shoots 4 to 6 inches or more to the left at 50 yards. Am trying to use the 530 grain bullets from TOW, but have also tried patched balls with the same result. Not sure how to...

    Great Plains Rifle

Lyman replied that max is 110 grains of 2f. And I will start low and work up. But I will go all the way to the top to see how it shoots that too. Also aren't guns interesting. Had 2 inlines, same make, same model. One would shoot a 1 inch group with 300 grain bullets and the other did the same...

    Great Plains Rifle

Don't have the manual so have gone to Lyman and Investarms. 2 different maximum loads. Know that Pedersoli makes their rifles now. Will send an email to Lyman and ask them maybe. Cleaning it now. Really anxious to shoot it.

That's interesting information to have. Never even thought of using my powder measure for the shot.

    JB shotgun

Thank you. The barrels look ok and have already got the nipples out. The locks seem to work fine. Have to wait until I get some supplies to try it.
