    Tap-o-cap and revolvers

    Thanks. I appreciate it. I have a hard time finding caps around here, and the Tap-o-cap helps. I haven't had the best luck with rifles with them, but the revolvers work pretty well.

    GPR Hammer catching

    I have a Great Plains Rifle I built from a kit years, and it's a great gun. Occasionally when using the set trigger though, the hammer will catch on the half cock notch of the sear when the trigger is pulled. I've had it apart and cleaned, etc. but I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

    wonder wads

    I know they say that you don't need to use grease on top of the ball. Is that safe? Just want to make sure. I haven't had any problems yet doing it that way, but my charges have been fairly light.

    Goex v. Pyrodex v. Triple 7

    I use Triple Seven in percussion revolvers, Pyrodex in percussion rifles, and Goex in flintlocks.
