    Thanks, Dixie and 36”. I may have chosen to get the complete gun over the kit if I was shopping again. Granted, I could and did customize it to my liking. But, money wise it actually cost me a couple hundred more than just buying a completed gun,,, supplies and tools.

    Evaporust, like mentioned above, don’t get it on bluing, just in the bore. It’s very safe in every other way and works GREAT, then lube the heck out of it.

    Have the kit which I’m finishing. Good spark, metal to wood good. Barrel seems quality steel and built well, just wish they took a bit more time and Precision drilling tensions which shouldn’t be a concern, just to my OCD. So far I think it’s going to be one of my favs.
