    Ballymoney is about 30mins north from where I was born and rared, Ballymena was my town. In Irish Bally me "town" and mena mean "middle", Middletown. If you look at a map of just Northern Ireland you will see that Ballymena is pretty central of the north.. Thanks for the welcome.
