    Cheap Felt Wad Source

    The little round felt pads that you use for your cabinet doors. You can get them at Lowes, WalMart, Home Depot, etc. They measure 3/8" which translates to .375. This is perfect for a 36 caliber revolver and may work for a 44. They cost about $1.00 for 75. That is less than 1 cent each.

    Gander Mtn Pyrodex??

    I have been in two Gander Mountain stores in the past week and neither one is carrying any Pyrodex RS or P. They have a little 777 but that is all. Both of these stores had it last year.     Got New Gun Today

    UPS delivered my new gun from Cabelas today. It is an 1858 Remington Police, .36 caliber, 6 1/2 inch barrel. It is beautiful. Everything lines up and no scratchs. I almost hate to shoot it. This makes five BP revolvers I have now. Guess I'd better stop for awile. :-)
