    I have a very nice 50 cal Hawkin made by P. Siehr, his 32nd build completed in 1994. Have shot it a bit and it does well although my old eyes dont focus on the rear sight. Trying to overcome that problem I mounted a modified flip up peep with a hair for a hole. Need to spend time sighting that...

    Hello all, Got the bid on a "22 cal" cap and ball rifle, will have it around next week. Will slug the bore for size, but in the meanwhile, never saw/heard of that small a muzzle loader. Any advice? (Just a note - I merged the threads - so he said "Hello" twice, but he's not losing it. Stumpy).

    Really old "New Guy" here with first post/question: Just got the bid on a 22 cal cap & Ball rifle. Have only seen pictures of it and bid on the rifle just because of my "Rule of stump" (have only one thumb). My "R.o S." = "Man can not have too many guns, knives or flashlights!!!" Really ready...
