    Coins

Im looking into building another rifle. The more I look, the more I find what I have may be better than what I can build. I am looking at the one screw lock mount of a southern rifle. Thinking about using a 1792 repop coin as a washer. Smallest Ive found is a 3/4 inch diameter one. Anyone...

    Patch Proof

Some folks say bad stuff about Thompson Center 1000+ bore butter. Back in October I cleaned my rifle for the end of season. I pulled it out today to get ready for the first rondy (3 weeks!!) I ran this patch down the barrel and spun it around when it hit the plug. As you can see, there is some...

    Hey Kibler

After seeing this video, what took me 5 months to make my first one. Looks like I could do this is 1-2 weekend. I would say this is impeccably built. Here is my question. Can you have an option to NOT have the rear dovetail cut? Us old gas bags would have to cut a second dovetail further down...

I had no idea a Kibler was like this

Any of you thinking of getting a flinter. This kit for surpasses what I have. The swamped barrel is really nice. The lock fit looks like 96%. If I had one of these I could build in a a week or so. It took 5 months to build my first one. Still would want double set triggers

The ugly writing on a Pietta barrel.

I had an idea, while looking at some ones new Pietta. If I sand my barrel down and all metal the writing then re-blue the barrel, are any laws being broken? The serial number is on the receiver. So it should not matter what we do to the lawyered up scribble they left on it.

    For the new flinter folk

I just got my order from ToTW and let me tell you their Pickering tool (small) fits my Chambers Late ketland lock, like it was made for it. Rev war powder horn

Well gang, I either got a real good deal, or got bambooseled by E-Bay. I saw this powder horn on E-Bay, and saw two others in auction houses. The ones in the auction houses were going for over 3 grand each. I paid under 1oo bucks for this one. Deal or No deal?
