    7/8 x50 caliber barrel

    I took a walnut stock blank to the Log Cabin to get a barrel channel and a ramrod groove cut in it. The barrel is a 50 caliber smooth bore. I was thinging of leaving it a smooth bore or would it be better to rifle it? Thanks in advance Olie

    drum for a 3/4 in. rifle barrel

    I am working on a 3/4 inch, 30 caliber rifle barrel. I need a drum for it but the flat on the barrel is only .310. A 5/16 drum is .3125 too big for the flat.     Green Hill formula

    Blahman; I would like to make a comment. Pi=3.14159 and in the Green Hill I use a constant of 130 instead of 150. The slug bullet will be shorter and hopefully shot better. Olie :imo:
