    Has anyone successfully tinned an unlined brass kettle? I picked a 2 gallon kettle up for cheap at a flea market but it is unlined. I am wondering if it is worth the effort to attempt to tin it. Thoughts?

    I've had success using Casenit. I have an old Dixie Belgian lock that I hardened probably 10 years ago and its still sparking well.
