    Pedersoli locks bad?

My first flinter is a Pedersoli Frontier ( Blue Ridge) .50 . It has sparked reliably and is adequately accurate. A great way to get into flintlocks without breaking the bank. I now own a few custom rifles as well but never regretted buying the Pedersoli. I should sell it as I haven’t shot it in...

A Man Has to Know His Limitations!

Iowa is headed downhill too. Our reputation as a “trophy” state will be a thing of the past. Drives me crazy that our game laws and seasons are made by our lawmakers rather than our DNR and state Bioligist that actually know what is best for hunters and the wildlife. All about money and...

    Gifted Flinter

I’m sorry for your loss of your friend. Very special to get a little history on this rifle. I lived in the Quad Cities around the time of that rifle and got into muzzleloading in the early 80’s. I shot some competition back then and have to think that I had shot against or at least knew of Lyle...

    Pedersoli Frontier

If you do a search here you will find quite a few threads about them. I have a .50 Blue Ridge flinter (same gun as the Frontier). It was my first flinter and I found it to be very reliable. I have only put around 60 balls through it as I have bought several other flintlocks since then and just...
