    This isn't about your lock! But about your RamRod and the Acceries you might buy! Get a long jag to use for seating the ball and for cleaning! I did and I don't have the hang up problem that a lot of people talk about!

    Skinner make a nice one for the TC that mounts where the Orginal adj sight is or they have one for a dovetail! May have to file to fit! Just type in skinnersights.com to go to his web page! I put one on my Crockett and love it! :thumbsup:

    Skinner make a very good peep for the TC Hawken! I put one on my Traditions Crockett and love it! He makes one specific for the TC!

    Traditions Crockett 32 cal Pistol

    According to Traditions 20g of FFFG is Max! They recommend a .310 ball, .012 patch and 10-12 g of powder for best accuracy! That is from their handbook! I just received The Trapper in .50 cal today! Probably be Friday before I have decent weather to see how it does! :thumbsup:

    With Crossed Sticks it should tame the heavy part! I don't like shooting offhand, if I don't have to! I will lean it against a tree if nothing else is handy! I have thought about the Crockett Pistol to go with my Crockett Rifle! Is yours accurate! Inquiring minds would like to know!

    Zonie, this is the first year that VA. Has allowed blackpowder Muzzleloading pistol. Have to be single shot, muzzleloaded, .45 cal or above! Cap and ball revolver's do not quaility! If I keep shots to bow range, I think I will be alright!

    Mooman, not getting a revolver! I have ordered a Traditions Trapper in .50 cal and already have a .490 RB mold to cast my own! The man I was talking to was being vague about what he had! Finally found out this morning he has a Revolver! Thanks Everybody! :grin:

    Mac, how good do you see with the stock buckhorn sight on the Crockett! Now my eyes are a might older than yours, but I couldn't see them good enough to get a decent group and my Crockett was brand new when I started shooting it!
