    Two pieces of shot...

    I ended up with a large amount of #5 shot and it’s pretty much all I use, personally I’ve never used a cushion wad other than some wool when just experimenting, I punch my wads from thick leather and pretty much use that, just reach in my pocket and grab what I need.

    My 10 gauge was manufactured in 1985, only the serial number is visible on the barrel, everything else is on the bottom side, excellent smooth locks and triggers, I seldom shoot it anymore but it’s very well built and shoots great.

    Not sure if I can make this happen but…..

    I hunted with an H&R officers model 1873 that had a similar setup and it worked pretty good, the base was inlet into the stock and only had wood screws holding it from the factory.

    I found a handful locally for my Pedersoli 10 gauge, they fit fine but didn’t shoot it enough to say how well though.

    Pedersoli locks bad?

    Have a Pedersoli Frontier .36 cal. lock has always been reliable and the rifle is very accurate, excellent squirrel rifle, shoot it, clean it right, no problems.
