anyone have experience with false muzzle target guns?

The false muzzle makes loading a tight patched ball super easy. I have two, a 40 cal and a 50 cal. both have old redfield Olympic peep sights installed. both way to heavy for me to shoot offhand. These are bench shooters only.

    Casting newbie.

Im using a lee magnum melter, 20lb pot. around 60 bucks shipped. works great. Lee aluminum molds work fine but give them a break about every 100 fills to cool off and add a drop of lube to the sprue plate screw to prevent wear.

    Octagon to Round

I've been debating what to do with 36in 1 1/8 GM 50 cal barrel that has a coned false muzzle. I already have two "bench only" guns and would like to build an off hand shooter. Buying another is not an option financially. but I do have access to a full machine shop at work. what say ye?

    Tips for Offhand shooting

On the breathing control thing. when I was learning to shoot, I was told to take a deep breath let it out and hold. When you do this your heart will skip one beat. do this as practice and learn to fire at that moment when your body is motionless
